History

Matreshka is a russian professional team founded in 2022.

The original roster included such players as Dmitry JANTER Nikulin, Adam LagooNa Chakhaev, Egor egxrdemxn Miller, INTENSE and Artur Retsu Kotsoev. The team took part in the qualifiers for the regional DPC league, played at RESF Open Cup 2022, where they took fourth place, and also took third place at Games of Future 2023. She then tried again at the DPC league in the spring. In addition, in 2023 Matreshka tried to qualify for The International and ESL One Kuala Lumpur.

In 2024, the team tried their hand at qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22, ESL One Birmingham, Elite League 2024 and PGL Wallachia Season 1, but failed to qualify for any of the tournaments. In May, Matreshka went to the open qualifiers for the Riyadh Masters 2024, but lost in the finals to Next Up, which ended their journey at the tournament. And in June, the team took part in the qualifiers for The International 2024, but, unfortunately, was again defeated in the final of the open qualification, this time by SIBE Team.
