Bio
Giorgos SsaSpartan Giannakopoulos is a professional player from Greece who plays as a full-support. His best heroes are Rubick, Oracle and Grimstroke.
SsaSpartan's professional career began back in 2014, he managed to play for XtremeXPS International and London Conspiracy, and in 2015, the player from Greece tried to qualify for The Frankfurt Major 2015, but was unsuccessful. At the moment, the best period in SsaSpartan's career was 2016-2018. In 2016, he assembled a team from Greece - Ad Finem. The team successfully qualifies for The Boston 2016, where they create a real sensation and reach the finals, where they take the top 2 and earn $500,000.
In 2017, SsaSpartan as a part of mousesports took 9-16th place at The Kiev Major 2017. The last significant result was the top 3 at the World Electronic Sports Games 2017, and the Greek team managed to earn $150,000. After a while, SsaSpartan's results started to decline. The maximum is 7th place in the first division. These are also championships in online tournaments like the Dota 2 Champions League.
After Ad Finem, SsaSpartan managed to play for mousesports, Clutch Games, Aggressive Mode, Family Team, Brame, Monaspa, and KZ Team. His best results in 2023 were 13-16th place at the Pinnacle Cup: 25 Years Anniversary Show, failure at the ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023 Open Qualifiers, 4th place at the European Pro League Season 14 and 5th-6th place at the European Pro League Season 15.
2024 for SsaSpartan started with failed qualifiers for all major tournaments of the year. After unsatisfactory results, he joined JustBetter with two of his fellow KZ Team members. In the new team the player tried to qualify for Elite League 2024, DreamLeague Season 23 and PGL Wallachia Season 1 without success, and later played at European Pro League 17: Division 1 and Winline Insight Season 5, finishing twelfth at both. In May, he won open qualifying at the Riyadh Masters 2024 and Elite League Season 2, but was a complete failure in the closed stage. The team received a direct invitation to the closed qualifiers for The International 2024, but failed to show a decent result. In July JustBetter played at the CyberScore.live Cup, but in the midst of the tournament disbanded due to internal problems, but in August presented a new roster, where SsaSpartan returned.
