Bio
Kanishka Sam BuLba Sosale is an American professional player of Indian origin.
BuLba started his career as a cybersports player in 2007. In 2011, he created the team EZ Style, with which he moved to the second Dota. Later this team was signed by It's Gosu eSports, but the cooperation between the players and the club didn't last long: in May 2012 Kanishka joined the first Evil Geniuses roster. With it he took the 3rd place at DreamHack Summer 2012 and participated in The International 2012, where he reached only 9-12th place.
BuLba started the new season in Team Liquid, he spent 1.5 years in this team. During this time he and his teammates won at RaidCall Dota 2 League Season 2, Curse Dota 2 Invitational and American Dota League Season 1 and finished on the high places of tier-1-2 tournaments. At The International 2013, the team finished in the top eight, but the next year's result was more modest - 9-10th place, and it was this that prompted Kanishka to leave the club. BuLba moved to Team Tinker and the players won at Megafon Battle Arena and finished 2nd at Dota 2 Champions League Season 4. In 2015, he took over the coaching duties of Evil Geniuses for the first time and his charges became champions of The International.
In 2016, Kanishka was a full-fledged member of three world-class teams: he helped Evil Geniuses take third place at WePlay Dota 2 League Season 3, together with Team Secret he qualified for The International 2016 and eventually took 13-16th place, for Team Liquid he played at a number of qualifiers, but did not win any of them. He played his last The International 2017 as a player for Digital Chaos and finished in 9th-12th place. After that, Kanishka focused on coaching at Evil Geniuses.
In 2022, BuLba and the entire Evil Geniuses roster moved under the Shopify Rebellion tag.
In July 2025, Shopify Rebellion ended their participation in Riyadh Masters 2025, finishing in 15th place and earning $50,000 in prize money.
On July 30, 2025, the organization shut down its Dota 2 division and released the roster. A little later, the player became part of Virtus.pro.
In October, Virtus.pro took part in FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where they failed to reach the playoffs and were eliminated during the group stage.
