Bio

Pavel 9pasha Khvastunov is a professional Dota 2 player, he usually plays on the hard line, but in some teams he performed kerry duties. Pavel gained fame after winning ESL One New York 2015 with Vega Squadron, and with Virtus.pro he won 5 majors and was twice in the top 6 of The International.

9pasha started playing regularly on the pro scene after returning from the army in 2014. He was featured in regional stacks UrsaStroitHram and BUHLO-UroPb, and even won StarLadder ProSeries Season 10 as a member of the latter, thus earning $700. The talented player was noticed and invited to Vega Squadron. The guys stayed one step away from getting to The International 2015, taking 2nd place in qualifications and 3rd place in Wild Card. But the victories didn't last long either: the championship at ESL One New York 2015 made the players stars in an instant.

After his dismissal from Vega Squadron, 9pasha played in Polarity for a while and even won The International 2016 open qualifiers as a member of Fantastic Five, but the fateful invitation to Virtus.pro, where the player took his usual role of an offlayer, was a fateful one. Despite the doubts of the fan community, the young team managed to gain momentum and first entered the top-8 of The Boston Major 2016, and then the top-2 of The Kiev Major 2017, earning half a million dollars. The season ended with a 5-6th place at The International 2017, which brought Pavel and his teammates their first $1 million.

The next season was the most fruitful in 9pasha's career: he became the champion of ESL One Hamburg 2017, Dota Summit 8, ESL One Katowice 2018, The Bucharest Major and ESL One Birmingham 2018 and successfully played at other major tournaments. At the main event of the year, contrary to the predictions of fans, the team again entered the top 6, which was the first "alarm bell" for the team. The 2018-2019 gaming year Virtus.pro also spent at the top, but won only The Kuala Lumpur Major. After the 9-12 line at The International 2019, it became clear that the roster needed changes, so 9pasha left it and joined Natus Vincere.

In the Ukrainian team he won only WePlay! Reshuffle Madness 2019, but the team performed mediocre in all other competitions. In September 2020 Pavel moved to the NAVI reserve and then joined the CIS Rejects mix. On November 16 2022, the player ended his career and focused on match coverage.
