Bio
Marcel Ekki Holowienko is a professional Dota 2 player who plays as a semi-support. His main heroes are Mirana, Hoodwink and Lion.
Ekki has not played much on the professional scene, most often it was a few matches as a substitute. In 2020, Marcel played in mini-tournaments, where he earned his first prize money. As a member of Edgar Davids Fan Club, he managed to take 5th-6th place and earned $726 per team. At the ESL Premiership 2020 Autumn, Ekki, along with Into the Breach, again only settled for top 5-6.
As a regular player, Ekki played many matches for Wisla Krakow. Overall his main job was coaching and analytics. In 2023, he was an assistant coach at Team Secret and TSM.
- January 6, 2024 - Team Secret published an announcement where Ekki replaced yamich and joined the starting lineup.
Team Secret with Kordan and Ekki stopped one step away from making it to BB Dacha Dubai 2024, as they lost to Tundra Esports and finished in 3rd place. However, the team managed to make it to DreamLeague Season 22 thanks to a win over Entity in the match for the slot. He also appeared at DreamLeague Season 22 and Elite League 2024 #1. A little later, along with the little-known EggiEggi stack, Marcel went to qualify for The International 2024, but failed to make it even to the closed stage.
- June 21, 2024 - Ekki moved to AVULUS.
The guy joined the new tag Team Tea, which soon changed its name. The team showed great results at smaller tournaments. Ekki managed to win the following championships: CCT Dota 2 Series 1, CyberScore.live Cup, RES Regional Series: EU #3, European Pro League 19: Division 1 and CCT Dota 2 Series 3. He also never gave up trying to make his way to the big stage and soon he succeeded - AVULUS earned a spot at PGL Wallachia Season 2, where eventually placed 8th, and later competed at DreamLeague Season 24, finishing 11th. At ESL One Bangkok 2024, the team was able to enter the top 5.
The 2025 team started with an 11th place finish at the FISSURE PLAYGROUND and 16th at DreamLeague Season 25. After that, the team traveled to Bucharest for PGL Wallachia: Season 3, where they finished 16th overall.
On March 21, 2025, Ekki left AVULUS and joined MOUZ in May. In September of the same year, after failing to qualify for major tournaments, Ekki returned to AVULUS. On November 11, AVULUS disbanded its roster.
In 2026, he played as a stand-in for Team Liquid at PREMIER SERIES, where the team finished 5th–6th, as well as at PGL Wallachia Season 8, where they placed 4th.
