Player Sunlight from Dota 2
Information
Bio
Although many people associate Cyril Sunlight Kaczynski with the analytics studio, he is also a professional player who has been playing for quite a long time. Fans first heard about the young pub star in 2012, when he and his team DevilMice took the 3rd place at the World Cyber Games 2012, beating Orange Esports, losing to Team DK and earning $4 thousand as a result.
Early in his career, Sunlight also played for such 2nd tier teams as iCCup, The Retry and AlbumSheet, where he gradually honed his skills and made the right acquaintances - he played stand-in for Team Empire and Power Rangers. During this time, the pro player earned more than $6 thousand in prize money for his teams.
Sunlight got a real chance to prove himself in April 2015, when he was invited to the main roster of Power Rangers after the departure of Shachlo and SoNNeikO. The biggest achievements of the team during this period were the 2nd place at the Esportal Dota 2 League Invitational Tournament 4 and victory at the ProDota Cup, but the tag still decided to change the roster after unsuccessful qualifications for DreamLeague Season 3 and ESL One Frankfurt 2015.
Sunlight made a small kambek to the dash-2 stage as a member of Prodota Gaming. Together with VANSKOR and MeTTpuM he managed to take 3-4th place at D2CL Christmas Charity Magic and win at StarLadder ProSeries Season 13 and ProDotA Cup Europe #3, but after another game slump the players parted ways.
Nemiga Gaming became Sunlight's next serious fixture. After playing several small tournaments and taking mostly third places in them, the player left the team again. In an interview he said that he lost faith in himself as a mid-range player, so he decided to either change his role or devote more time to covering tournaments. A key team for Sunlight was Aggressive Mode, which included Lil, Skiter, SkyLark, and Boranija. Although the team didn't last long, the player became close to Lil and soon joined his Omegalil stack. However, Egor didn't stay there for long - after two months, he and Lil parted ways, and Sunlight himself subsequently formed his own team - KBU.US.
