Dominic Italian Gangstar Modzelewski is an American professional Dota 2 player active on the North American scene. Formerly known by his alias ITALIANO GANGSTA, he is noted for his mastery of Dawnbreaker and Beastmaster, often also choosing Broodmother despite his opinion of its necessity to ban every game, as well as Medusa, Chaos Knight, Death Prophet, and Mars, thus showcasing his wide pool of heroes.
Dominic's professional career began in August 2020 with a stint with Pace University at OMEGA League: Americas Divine Division, where he played just two games before joining 5RATFORCESTAFF. On that team, he had significant success, including a 1st-2nd place finish at ESL One DPC NA Winter: Closed Qualifiers and a 4th place finish at ESL One DPC NA Winter: Division II.
In May 2022, after a short stay at Poison Posse, where the team finished 8th at DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Closed Qualifiers, Dominic moved to Team DogChamp. With this squad, his career received a new impetus, with a 4th place finish at BTS Pro Series Season 12: America and a 1st place finish at DPC NA 2023 Tour 1: Division II , which confirmed the constant growth of Italiano Gangstar and the team as a whole. After spending almost six months in the lineup, Dominic didn't stop there and joined The Cut as an Offlaner in March 2023.
In March 2024, Dominic participated in the closed qualification for the Elite League 2024 with Grin Esports, but finished in 3rd place and did not qualify for the main event.
