Bio

Liu Sylar Jiajun is a Chinese professional player. He is the leader in terms of the number of professional matches played as Lycan (137 matches and 84 wins), Luna (102 matches and 47 wins), and Weaver (89 matches and 48 wins), as well as the leader in terms of the number of professional matches won on Morphling (127 matches and 80 wins). He is known for his habit of placing a paper napkin on his mouse and keyboard while playing.

Liu began his professional gaming career in early 2011, starting to play DotA as part of the World Elite roster. When a position opened up for a carry player on LGD, Sylar moved to the new team. At the same time, the players switched to Dota 2 and quickly became the strongest in China.

Under the leadership of xiao8, LGD was confidently heading for victory at TI2, but their winning streak was interrupted by Na'Vi, sending the favorites to the losers' bracket, where they were defeated by the future champions iG. Nevertheless, LGD kept its roster intact until the next The International. But at TI3, the team lost to Team Liquid, which knocked out China's strongest team long before the grand final.

Later, Sylar first represented RisingStars and then VG, with whom he became vice-champion at TI4. In August 2014, Liu returned to LGD. His next appearance at The International 2015 ended with a bronze medal. Thus, Sylar became a player who has been in the top 3 of The International three times. After a disastrous performance at The Shanghai Major 2016, a conflict between the player and LGD manager Ruru was revealed, and Sylar left the organization.

After finishing the season with VG without much success, Sylar moved to EHOME in September 2016, but left the team in January 2017. It was only in September that he returned to active play with VGJ.Thunder, with whom he finished 13th-16th at The International 2018. Sylar failed to qualify for the next TI and retired in November 2021.
