Bio
Song Sccc Chun is a Chinese professional Dota 2 player and veteran of the Newbee organization, having played on various rosters for 4.5 years. Sun is one of the strongest mid laners in the region, becoming the second player in China to reach 9,000 MMR, and he is also a silver medalist at The International 2017.
Before starting his professional gaming career, Sccc served in the army, where he worked as a firefighter. In 2015, he joined Newbee.Young, the organization's youth roster. The team earned its first $3,000 for placing 9th-16th in the Chinese qualifiers for World Cyber Arena 2015. After their success in smaller tournaments, Song and his teammates received an invitation to the closed qualifiers for The Frankfurt Major 2015, where they finished in 3rd place. However, the silver medalist Invictus Gaming had visa issues, so Sccc found himself at his first international tournament, where he finished in 13th-16th place.
After a successful 2015-2016 season, the player was transferred to the main roster of Newbee. Soon, his new team successfully competed in the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017, StarLadder i-League Invitational #2, and Mars Dota 2 League 2017, securing a spot at The International 2017. At the main event of the year, the team reached the grand final, where they were defeated by Team Liquid.
The following season, Sccc won the Perfect World Masters and ESL One Genting 2018, took bronze at The Bucharest Major, but at The International 2018, his team failed, crashing out in the first round of the playoffs and finishing in 13th-16th place. After reshuffling, Newbee only managed to take 4th place at MDL Macau 2019 and failed to qualify for The International 2019. This led to Sccc leaving the team — Song signed a one-year contract with Team Aster.
Over the course of a year, he managed to win the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3 and perform well in local tournaments, but he did not continue his collaboration with the BurNIng team.
