Bio
Dmitriy Recrent Osintsev is one of the most influential gaming streamers of recent years, specializing in shooters and the battle royale genre.
Born on June 26, 1997, in Saint Petersburg, Dmitriy moved to Moscow in 2021. Initially, he enrolled in the economics faculty of Moscow State University, but in his third year, he decided to drop out to fully dedicate himself to esports and computer gaming.
He created his Twitch channel on January 8, 2013, and has since attracted over 1.1 million followers. His esports career began with Overwatch, after which he tried his hand at CS, but quickly lost interest.
Due to his deep involvement with games, Dmitriy rarely goes outside, which often becomes a subject of jokes among his audience. After posting a photo on Instagram for the first time in six months, many followers left humorous comments about it.
At the end of 2018, he joined NAVI's PUBG roster and, together with the team, won 15,000 euros at the OGN Super League Europe PUBG Invitational, finishing in the top three for most kills. In April 2019, Dmitriy went inactive, and in August, he left NAVI and joined the PG18 team, which he left after seven months.
In July 2020, he set two world records in Call of Duty: Warzone within three days: first with 43 kills and 10,000 damage in solo mode, and then 58 kills and nearly 15,000 damage in trio mode.
In March 2021, Dmitriy returned to NAVI as a content creator and produced videos for their YouTube channel about CoD: Warzone for about a year. In April 2022, a mutual decision was made not to renew the contract.
He was recognized as the best streamer by the Esports Best award in 2021. In 2023, Dmitriy also won the award for best battle royale streamer at SLAY-2023, beating Desaut and Dmitriy Lix.
In the summer of 2023, he was almost a victim of swatting: an unknown person called the police, pretending to be Dmitriy, and reported a non-existent incident. The police arrived at his old address, where Dmitriy's acquaintance had to explain the situation.
Before the original Warzone servers shut down, Dmitriy shared that he had spent 146,000 rubles in the game, and with the codes he received, the value of his account was about 200,000 rubles. Despite this, the developers did not allow the transfer of skins to the new Warzone 2 after the service shut down on September 21.
Dmitriy's interests extend beyond battle royales. In December 2022, he noted the growing popularity of Valorant compared to CS, but expressed the opinion that Valorant would not soon surpass CS in popularity in their region.
In September 2024, Recrent participates in the streamer Dota 2 tournament 1win Not Int 2.
