Player Moo from from GRIN Esports Dota 2
Bio
David William Moo Hull is a professional Dota 2 player from the USA.
David tried his hand in different disciplines such as Heroes of the Newerth and Starcraft, but after the decline of HoN, like many famous players, he moved to Dota 2. In 2015, he was invited to ROOT Gaming, where he stayed for a few months before joining Team Fire. He stayed with that team for a shorter period of time, and then decided to change teams once again - Team Achan. Toward the end of 2016, Moo joined Digital Chaos, thus qualifying for The International 2016. The team looked like a "dark horse" that managed to make it to the grand finals of the tournament, much to the amazement of the Dota 2 community. In the key series Digital Chaos loses to Wings Gaming with a score of 1-3, after which, just 2 weeks later, David is kicked out of the team.
Next, Moo decides to change his role to Carry position and joins compLexity Gaming. Under this clangetag he performs for several years, playing at tournaments such as The Bucharest Major, EPICENTER XL and The Boston Major 2016, where the compLexity Gaming team fails to achieve high results. In 2018, the cyber sportsman decides to return to the usual third position in the roster of J.Storm. The team manages to enter the top 5-6 at the MDL Chengdu Major.
The year 2020 becomes a slump for David. He plays for different stacks, but fails to make it to the dash-1 competitions. With the introduction of the DPC leagues, his mixes started playing in the first division of North America, losing to the region's grands. In 2022, Moo signs Nouns, who manage to qualify for The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier.
At the group stage of The International 2023 Nouns managed to qualify for the top playoffs, but already in the first round they went down to the bottom. There the team was able to defeat TSM, but already in the third round they were eliminated from the tournament, losing to Gaimin Gladiators and in the end, Nouns finished in 7th-8th place. This was a disappointing result for the organization and Nouns was disbanded.
The next team for David was BammySoy. Together with her Moo almost managed to qualify for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. The team made it to the closed qualification, but took the 3rd place and didn't make it to the main part of the tournament.
The year 2024 started for Moo with qualifications for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and DreamLeague Season 22. Unfortunately, he failed to qualify for either tournament. At the open qualifiers for Dacha BammySoy took 3-4 place. At DreamLeague, the squad received an invitation to the closed qualification, but finished in the semifinals of the lower grid, taking 4th place.
