Bio
Jorien Sheever van der Heijden is an English-speaking content maker. She is widely known as the host of major Dota 2 tournaments.
Jorien loved games from an early age, and was introduced to Warcraft III by her sister. She was a big fan of Tower Defense and later DotA. Shortly after leaving World of Warcraft in 2011, she received a Dota 2 key. In early December 2011, she started streaming Dota 2 on Owned.tv, and in March 2012, she moved to Twitch .
Sheever got into the realm of tournament coverage when she was asked to help run an amateur Dota 2 tournament. In April 2012, she was hired as a cast member at GosuGamers and worked there until January 2013. Since then, Sheever has become a much more well-known and independent freelance freelance Dota 2 caster, presenter, expert and interviewer, appearing at many well-known events such as The International, Dota Major, DreamLeague and ESL.
In May 2017, Jorien announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She continued to attend events while undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, and was fully cured by December 2019.
In November 2024, Sheever participated in BB Streamers Battle 8 as a roster member of Ephey Team.
