Jake SirActionSlacks Kanner is an American host, interviewer, reporter, and commentator for Dota 2.

In 2013, a young YouTuber and casual Team Fortress 2 player, SirActionSlacks, discovered a game called Dota 2. In November of the same year, he posted his first video related to this MOBA, and then fully transitioned his channel to focus on it. Jake recorded interactions with his teammates, distorting his voice in various ways, which gained him initial popularity. He later moved to the Twitch platform and began live streaming there.

SirActionSlacks first made a mark in the esports world at The International 2014, where he attended after winning a ticket giveaway on Reddit. It was there that Jake began conducting interviews with players and casters in his characteristic ironic manner. After concluding his work at the main tournament of the year, ESL invited Jake to work as a reporter at ESL One New York 2014. Collaborating with many joinDOTA staff members, SirActionSlacks and Soe conducted comedic interviews with viewers and players.

During The International 2015, SirActionSlacks produced content and coverage for ESL. His involvement at TI5 was similar to his participation in 2014, but in a more official capacity for the press. Although he wasn't on Valve's official talent list, receiving a press pass and access as part of the professional filming crew allowed him to conduct high-quality interviews with key figures of the tournament. Since then, Jake has not missed a single tournament in The International series.
