Dmitry Inmate Filinov is a RuHub Studio caster and former professional Dota 2 player.
Dmitry started his journey as a professional Dota 2 player in 2012, playing for Moscow Five team as Support. In this team Inmate became the champion of Play4Dota 2012 #1 weekly tournament and took the 2nd place on StarLadder StarSeries Season 1. In September 2012, Dmitry joined The Retry team, with which he took 9-16th place at StarLadder StarSeries Season 3: Round Robin. This was his last appearance on the pro scene.
Dmitry got his first experience as a commentator at The International 2013. After that, Filinov took a three-year break from coaching, taking care of personal matters. In 2016 Inmate joined RuHub Studio, where he started working in the analytics studio together with NS, Dread, and other famous casters.
Inmate has covered every tournament in The International series except TI 2018. Filinov also works on smaller tournaments. For example, he commented almost all Dota 2 Champions League tier-3 tournaments, starting with D2CL Season 1 and ending with D2CL Season 10. Now Dmitry continues to work in RuHub Studio, covering the main cybersport events of Dota 2.
