Bio
Andrey Dread Golubev is a professional Dota 2 player who has finished his career, a popular streamer with over 100 million views on his channel, commentator and analyst. Currently a member of the KBU team, created by veterans of the pro scene to entertain viewers. In the spring of 2020 he became a father.
Andrey started his career back in 2009 in the first Dota. He became famous for playing for DTS, where LighTofHeaveN, NS, ArtStyle and Dendi also played. Dread moved to Dota 2 as a member of Moscow Five, took part in The International 2011 and took 5th-6th place, which brought the team $35k. After leaving this team he briefly played in Darer with ArtStyle and managed to reach the 4th line of StarLadder StarSeries Season 1. Later he joined the first roster of Virtus.pro, but he stayed there for less than a month.
RoX became Dread's permanent team after all the experiments and misadventures in the stacks. It was here that he played with his friend and future stream partner Solo. The first achievement of the team was the victory at Bigpoint Battle #3, followed by "silver" RaidCall EMS One Spring Season and "bronze" Curse Dota 2 Invitational. After an unfortunate 3rd place at The International 2013 qualifications and failure to qualify for the main event of the year, Andrei's desire to play Dota waned and he focused on streaming and commentating. In July 2013 he officially left the organization and announced the end of his career.
At the end of the same year Dread returned to the pro scene as Relax, you're doing fine, which also included Nexus, KSi, Crazy and Solo, but soon this lineup changed drastically, and the main core consisted of Shachlo and yoky-. The team successfully played at the dash-2-3 tournaments of their time: took 2nd place at CIS Carnage 2014 and Dota Pit League Season 1, as well as 3-4 - at Techlabs Cup 2014 Season 2. Eventually Andrew and his teammates got a sponsor - the HellRaisers club. Dread played the whole next season and during this time he got most of his competitive achievements: victory at joinDOTA Masters XIV and joinDOTA Masters XVI, 5-6th place at Dota Pit League Season 3 and 9-12th place at Dota 2 Asia Championships 2015.
After leaving HellRaisers, Andrei decided to fully dedicate himself to streaming and covering matches, playing KBU purely for fun and enjoyment.
