Bio

Wei Maps Yitian is a former professional Dota 2 player from China, also known as the coach of teams CDEC Gaming and Vici Gaming.

Wei began his career in 2013, joining HyperGloryTeam. In 2014, he became part of LGD.CDEC as an offlaner, where he participated in the qualifiers for The International 2014, but failed to overcome the group stage. As part of this team, Maps participated in tournaments such as i-League Season 1, World E-sport Championships 2014, National Electronic Sports Open 2014, and G-League 2014. After separating from LGD Gaming, the team became known as CDEC Gaming, and Wei continued to perform under the new tag until the beginning of 2015 when he left the team. His playing career slowed down in 2015, until May, when he joined Immortal Magneto Gaming to participate in the qualifiers for The International 2015.

In March 2016, Wei joined the roster of FTD Club C, where he spent a year participating in many second-tier qualifiers and tournaments but did not achieve significant results. After leaving FTD Club C, he took a career break. In December 2018, Wei returned to CDEC Gaming, competed in H-Cup Season 12, and participated in the qualifiers for ESL One Mumbai 2019, but failed to qualify for the main stage and soon left the team.

At the end of 2021, after a break, Wei became the coach of Vici Gaming. Under his guidance, the team competed at Intel World Open Beijing, finishing in 5-6th places, and then reached 3rd place in the qualifiers for The International 2022, securing a spot in the Last Chance Qualifier.

In 2023, Maps took up a coaching position at Azure Ray. Together, the team became champions of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023At the end of the year, Wei joined Xtreme Gaming, also as a mentor. Under his leadership, Xtreme finished 3rd at DreamLeague Season 22.

Later, the team played at DreamLeague Season 23, finishing in 4th place. Due to their good performance, the guys got direct invites to the two most important tournaments of the year - Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024.

On June 6, 2024, Xtreme Gaming changed its tag to WBG.XG due to a partnership with Weibo Gaming.

In July, the team participated in the Riyadh Masters 2024, where they finished 8th, failing to show high results. Already in August, WBG.XG participated in the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational, which took place in the team's homeland, China. In this tournament, the team managed to take 1st place, defeating Team Spirit in the grand final.

At The International 2024, Xtreme Gaming took 5th-6th place, losing to Tundra Esports in the lower bracket of the playoffs. In October 2024, the full-support Dy left the team. After that, the organization presented an updated roster that included Pyw and Tianming. The roster only placed 7th at DreamLeague Season 24.

On November 12, 2024 Xtreme Gaming officially announced a new roster, which in addition to Xm included lou, niu, Pyw, poloson. The team performed at BLAST Slam I, where they took 3-4th place. In February 2025, XG entered FISSURE PLAYGROUND and BLAST SLAM II, but had disappointing results at both tournaments, finishing in 10th place. At DreamLeague Season 25, the team finished only 13th.

In March 2025, Maps stepped down as coach of Xtreme Gaming.

On October 6, Maps joined Vici Gaming.
