Ru RedPanda Zhihao is a professional Dota 2 player who plays as a Full-support player.
His career started in late 2016 with Team Longwan. Ru proved himself in 2017-2018, playing for several teams including Invictus Gaming and Ehome.Immortal. His first notable success was a third place finish at RedRain Cup Season 2 with ForTheDream.
Zhihao was with Royal from 2018 to 2019, achieving an impressive winrate of 68.25% in 63 matches. This is his best result excluding short stints with other teams.
In September 2019, he moved to Sparking Arrow Gaming. In this team, Zhihao had significant successes including the finals of Asia Communication League Season 2, Battle of Dawn, Asian Masters League S4, wins in China Dota2 Development League Season 2, CDA League Season 1 and BEYOND EPIC: China.
In 2020, RedPanda joined Elephant, with whom they won the OGA Dota PIT Season 4: China and China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 2. Despite their successes, the team failed to make it to The International 2021. Before the qualifiers, Ru joined Royal Never Give Up, but was not successful.
Since November 2021, he has been playing for Aster.Aries. Before his arrival, the team was in the second division, but under his leadership they finished second in DPC CN 2021/22 Tour 2: Division II and advanced to the first division. After 10 months, the team almost returned to the second division, finishing seventh in DPC CN 2023 Tour 1: Division I, but remained in the first due to the banning of EHOME and Knights players.
In January 2024, Ru joined Team Bright. With it, he participated in qualifications for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham 2024. The squad managed to advance to the closed qualification stage at DreamLeague and ESL One Birmingham 2024, but failed to make it through: the team finished in 4th place at both qualifiers.
