Bio
Maxim TheHeartlessKing Fadeev is a Ukrainian coach of professional Dota 2 teams.
TheHeartlessKing started his career in 2017, joining Team Spirit as a coach. Maxim was able to lead the roster to victory at Galaxy Battles II: Emerging Worlds and Russian Esports Cup 2017.
In May 2018, TheHeartlessKing left Team Spirit and moved to Espada as a coach. Under his leadership, the roaster was able to take 2nd place at the World Electronic Sports Games 2018 Russia Finals. At the end of 2018, Espada took a break from competitive activity, and Maxim joined Old but Gold, a Russian team that was assembled to participate in the 2019 Dota Pro Circuit season. The team was able to take second place in the standings at the GG.Bet Birmingham Invitational and finished 3-4th at StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 1. In May 2019, Team Spirit announced that they had signed the entire Old but Gold roster, including Maxim.
In early 2020, the HellRaisers cybersport club announced a new roster, which included TheHeartlessKing as a coach. Soon HellRaisers took part in a large number of competitions at different levels, took 1st place in the regional DPC league and 2nd place at the Dota 2 Champions League Season 3, as well as tested their strength at the qualifications for The International 2021. Then the roster suffered a slight decline and Maxim decided to leave the team.
In November 2021 TheHeartlessKing moved to HYDRA, where he again took the position of Dota 2 roster coach. He spent two years in the roster of this club, after which he became the coach of Night Pulse, whose roster he coached until February 2025.
On February 21, 2025 Maxim became the coach of NAVI Junior. Under his leadership the team became the finalist of CCT Dota 2 Series 7.
On June 7, 2025, the team qualified for Riyadh Masters 2025 through the closed qualifier.
In July 2025, Natus Vincere exited Riyadh Masters 2025, finishing in 9th place and earning $75,000 in prize money.
In 2025, the team qualified for The International 2025 but couldn’t reach the playoffs and finished the tournament in 14th place.
