Daniel kAAN Heisu is a Romanian professional Dota 2 player who plays as a carry.
kAAN's esports career began in 2016 with the team Irreversible, where he first earned prize money by finishing third at the Romanian Dota Pro League Season 3. In May 2017, Daniel moved to Team Moriarty, where he spent about a year but did not achieve significant success. However, after returning to Moriarty in August 2019, the team became finalists at DreamHack Weekly #3 and won the Brewmaster's Cup #2.
In the spring of 2020, kAAN joined No Bounty Hunter, where he played until December 2022 with several months' breaks. During this time, he and his team won Epulze Global League Season 2: Europe - Division 1, Electronic Sports Federation League, CEE Champions 2022 and several monthly tournaments. The team also participated in the DPC: in DreamLeague Season 14 EU DPC: they finished fifth in the lower division, sixth in the second tour, and eventually took last place in DreamLeague Season 16 DPC WEU: Division II, after which they left the league.
In 2023, kAAN initially played in several lesser-known stacks and then joined the team Ionut Cercel, with which he placed sixth at the European Pro League Season 8. In May, he moved to Ram Squad to participate in the DPC qualifiers, but the team failed to make it into the league. After that, the team placed 5-6 at the European Pro League Season 9 and made it to the top-16 at Malta Vibes #2. In early 2024, Daniel returned to No Bounty Hunter and participated in the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham 2024, but the team could not advance beyond this stage.
