Player fy from from Azure Ray Dota 2
Bio
Xu fy Linsen is one of the most famous and titled Dota 2 players from China, two-time silver and one-time bronze medalist of The International, winner of Tier-1 tournaments. Hu spent almost 5 years in different Vici Gaming squads, during which time he became a kind of a symbol of the club.
Fy came to the pro scene of the second DotA in 2012, already being a famous DotA player, his performances on Rubick were known and respected by the whole world. Xu joined the first roster of Vici Gaming. After solifles that brought rOtk, Sylar and Super to the roster, the team started to play: their first win happened at RaidCall EMS One Fall Season, then the Chinese took 3rd place at Dota 2 League Season 4 and The Summit and 5-8 at ESL One Frankfurt 2014, which allowed them to go to The International 2014.
Suddenly, fy and his teammates showed an incredible performance: they took 1st place in Round Robin, and during the playoffs they reached the grand finals, where they lost to Newbee, who surprised everyone even more, and took 2nd place, earning almost $1.5 million. The next season went under the banner of Vici Gaming: victories at i-League Season 1, ESL One New York 2014 and The Summit 2, as well as 2nd place at the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2015 and other achievements made the team the main contender for The International 2015 championship. Alas, it didn't happen: fy and company were only honored with a 4th place ranking.
The following season, Xu joined Vici Gaming Reborn along with Yao and DDC. The players failed to find the right "chemistry" and suffered a crushing fiasco at The International 2016: they dropped out of the first round of the lower grid, losing to TNC Pro Team. In 2017, the organization sent fy to VGJ.Thunder, which managed to take only 5-8th place at The Kiev Major 2017. At the qualifiers of The International 2017, the team failed, and this put an end to the cooperation between the player and the club.
LGD Gaming (later - PSG.LGD) again breathed life and hope for victories into fy. With her, Xu became the champion of EPICENTER XL and MDL Changsha Major, twice was a contender for the top-1 The International, but took 2nd and 3rd place, which is also a great result that brought the team more than $7 million. In September 2020, fy left the organization to become a member of Four Angry Men.
In 2023, fy with Azure Ray team finished 4th place at The International 2023 (TI12), showing that he is still considered a Dota 2 legend. Immediately after this tournament, he, along with Chalice and Somnus, left AR to focus on streaming.
In December 2023, plans change, fy returns to the Azure Ray starting lineup. The new AR roster makes his debut at the closed qualification for BB Dacha Dubai 2024 among teams from China and Southeast Asia.
