Bio
Clement Puppey Ivanov is a professional player from Estonia who plays at the fifth position.
He started his career in 2007 still in DotA. Then he played in XsK and succeeded to take the 3rd place at the ESL Major Series. Clement's last team in this discipline was GosuGamers. After that, the player joined Natus Vincere, which continued its path in Dota 2.
In the new team Puppey became the winner of The International 2011 and finished 2nd at The International 2012 and 2013. And later on, the player took on the role of captain, leading the team to several more good performances. After a disappointing performance at The International 2014, Puppey and KuroKy left the team and decided to create their own stack. This is how Team Secret came into existence.
Clement has been leading his team since 2014, and the captain has also raised several players to tier-1 level, including MidOne, YapzOr, Ace and Nisha. In addition, the player was accused of misusing tournament winnings as well as taking pay cuts without the knowledge of other players. It was also alleged that Puppey physically threatened team members, particularly w33. However, Puppey never missed a single The International until 2022 and performed respectably in each season, and is considered to hold the record for the most appearances in the grand finals of worldwide tournaments.
In 2023, the player's career went downhill. He made appearances at the Riyadh Masters 2023, DreamLeague Season 20, as well as BetBoom Dacha 2023, finishing in 3rd place. The team failed to qualify for The International 2023. The next year started with several failed qualifications at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and ESL One Birmingham, but made appearances at DreamLeague Season 22, Elite League 2024, PGL Wallachia: Season #1 and FISSURE Universe Ep.2, but did not win any prizes. And in the summer he failed the qualifiers for Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024.
- September 23, 2024 - Puppey joined Natus Vincere as a stand-in.
Together with Natus Vincere the guy played at PGL Wallachia Season 2, where he helped the team to achieve a great result: the team was defeated by Tundra Esports in the semifinals of the lower bracket and took the fourth place.
In November, Puppey assembled a new Team Secret roster. The updated team debuted at the qualifiers for ESL One Bangkok 2024, but failed to advance to the tournament. Later, Team Secret competed at the 1win Series Fall, but was the first to be eliminated there as well.
In June, a stand-in player strengthened Edge roster ahead of the start of PGL Wallachia Season 5. However, Edge was one of the first to be eliminated from the championship.
On October 6, Puppey joined AVULUS to compete in the qualifiers for BLAST Slam V. In October, AVULUS participated in FISSURE Universe: Episode 7, where they lost in the first round of the playoffs and left the tournament.
In December, Clement joined PARIVISION as a coach for DreamLeague Season 27. He continued working with the club after the tournament. PARIVISION made it into the top three at the online championship. At DreamLeague Season 28, PV finished in sixth place, and in PGL Wallachia Season 7, they failed to make it to the playoffs.
At the end of March, PARIVISION placed fourth at ESL One Birmingham 2026, losing to Xtreme Gaming in the lower bracket semifinal of the Playoff stage.
In April, the team participated in the online tournament PREMIER SERIES, where they became champions without losing a single game.
