Lasse MATUMBAMAN Aukusti Urpalainen is a professional Dota 2 player from Finland, playing as a kerry and midranger, champion of The International 2017, a number of majors and major tournaments. Lasse gained fame as a member of Team Liquid.

Before coming to cybersport MATUMBAMAN 10 years seriously interested in baseball and even played in the major league of his country, but then even quit the school of sailors for the sake of pro-Dota. Lasse made his debut in 2013, and a year later caught the attention of the community when he won Assembly Summer 2014. Soon the best Finnish players formed a mix of 4 Anchors + Sea Captain, conquered the European D3 scene and even entered the top-6 XMG Captains Draft 2.0 and top-4 Esportal Dota 2 League, earning over $40k in 9 months.

MATUMBAMAN's extraordinary abilities caught KuroKy's attention and he invited him and JerAx to join his new team 5Jungs. The team won Alienware Summer's End Cup and Nanyang Dota 2 Championships qualifications, after which they got the support of Team Liquid. The guys played so well that they soon won Dota 2 Champions League Season 6 and The Defense Season 5, and by the end of the season became EPICENTER 2016 champions and silver medalists of The Shanghai Major 2016 and The Manila Major 2016. At this year's The International, the team finished in the top 8, although fans expected more from them.

When GH and Miracle- were added to the roster, Team Liquid played even more confidently than before: they became the champions of StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3, StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 2, EPICENTER and DreamLeague Season 7, and secured a direct entry to The International 2017. MATUMBAMAN and company were irresistible at the main event of the year: they reached the grand finals on the lower playoff grid, beating Team Secret, Virtus.pro and 2 LGD squads, defeated Newbee and became the tournament champions, taking down a $10.8 million pot.

The following season was a rich one for Lasse and his team and ended with a 4th place finish at The International 2018. In 2019, despite Team Liquid's excellent results, the player was kicked from the roster, but he still had the strength to qualify for The International 2019 with Chaos Esports Club. In November 2019 MATUMBAMAN joined the ranks of Team Secret and then returned to Team Liquid, together with the old organization was able to take the top 3 of The International 2022.

Unfortunately on October 10, 2022 this legendary player announced the end of his career and left Liquid.
