Player Lelis from from Nouns Dota 2
Bio
Rodrigo Lelis Lelis Santos is a Brazilian professional Dota 2 player also known by the nickname LESLÃO. His most expressive characters are Rubick, Clockwerk, Keeper of the Light.
The first victories on Lelis' cybersport path came when the player joined Midas Club three years after the start of his career. Lelis stopped one step away from making it to The Kiev Major 2017 and The International 2017 through qualifications.
In September 2017, the young offlayer was signed by Brazilian organization SG e-sports, with whom Lelis placed 7th-8th at ESL One Hamburg 2017 and StarLadder ImbaTV Invitational Season 5, 5th-6th at StarLadder i-League Invitational 3 and AMD SAPPHIRE Dota PIT League. However, after losing in the final qualifiers for The International 2018, LESLÃO made the decision to leave SG e-sports. In September 2018, Lelis joined paiN Gaming - it was his arrival that helped the team to qualify for The Kuala Lumpur Major, which resulted in the team finishing in 9th-12th place, losing to Vici Gaming. Rodrigo spent the next six months with Flying Penguins, during which he managed to take 3-4th place on StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 1. However, LESLÃO accepts an invitation from paiN Gaming ahead of the MDL Disneyland® Paris Major, where he placed 9th-12th. The team, along with Lelis, has become a grande dame of the South American scene and has been a regular qualifier for major tournaments in 2019.
In 2020, Lelis decides to try himself in teams from other regions - the player joined Ninjas in Pyjamas, but the beginning of the pandemic had a negative impact on the Brazilian's career and he failed to gain a foothold in the squad. In mid-2020, when only online tournaments were taking place on the expanses of the professional scene, LESLÃO joined Quincy Crew - the most colorful part in the career of the cybersports player. Lelis was able to win BTS Pro Series Season 2: Americas, ESL One Thailand 2020: Americas, BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas, and many other tournaments. He was also able to compete for the first time at The International 2021, where the Brazilian placed 9-12.
In 2023, together with Team Nouns, he took 7th-8th place at The International 2023. Although the result was more than positive, three players left the organization, but Lelis remained in the squad.
After a break, Nouns returns to the pro scene in January 2024. The team participates in the closed qualification for DreamLeague Season 22, where they take 2nd place after losing to Shopify Rebellion in the tournament finals.
