Avery SVG Silverman is an American professional player. During his career, Averi has played on top teams in the region - Cloud9, VGJ.Storm, Forward Gaming, and coached Evil Geniuses.
Averi started his pro career in 2015 with Cloud9, with whom he won BTS Americas 2, finished 7th-8th at MLG World Finals and 13th-16th at The Frankfurt Major 2015.
After six months playing for Shazam, which won ProDotA Cup Americas 1, 3, and 5, BTS Americas 4, and finished second at most U.S. qualifiers, SVG became the coach of Evil Geniuses and helped its members take top-3 The International 2016, PGL Open Bucharest 2017 and DreamLeague Season 8, top-2 EPICENTER, and perform well at other championships.
After completing his coaching career, Averi placed 5th-6th at The Boston Major 2016 as a player with Team NP SVG. Then, along with YawaR, Resolut1on, Sneyking and MSS, he won GESC: Thailand Dota2 Minor, finished second at MDL Changsha Major, placed 9-12 at China Dota2 Supermajor and made it to the top 8 of The International 2018, earning nearly $1 million in total. After some disappointing performances for Forward Gaming, the player took a break, but returned at the end of the year and finished second at DOTA Summit 11 with Chaos Esports Club. Since May 2020, he won all regional tournaments with Quincy Crew, which brought the team more than $110 thousand.
