Player JT- from from G2.Invictus Gaming Dota 2
Bio
JT- is a Malaysian esports player in Dota 2. He is the champion of the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 and is known for his signature hero, Mars.
JT-'s first professional team was Geek Fam. Alongside Ol, they played together for the entire 2017-2018 season. After failing to qualify for The International 2018, JT- moved to Mineski. He played as the team's carry and also took on the role of captain. Within three months of joining the team, he led them to victory in the AMD Dota 2 Pro Series 2018 and the DreamHack Mumbai Invitational 2018, which earned him a loan to Newbee. Following several unsuccessful attempts to qualify for major tournaments, JT- underwent a trial with ForTheDream until Mineski offered him a loan to Invictus Gaming.
Despite a somewhat slow start and a failure to qualify for The International 2019, JT- joined the revamped roster of the Chinese organization. Alongside Emo, flyfly, Kaka, and Oli, the team secured the gold at DOTA Summit 11 and a bronze at the MDL Chengdu Major, placing 5-6th at DreamLeague Season 13: The Leipzig Major and ranking 5th in the DPC rating. This directly qualified them for the World Championship. However, their plans were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, causing The International 10 to be postponed until 2021. Interest in competitive gaming diminished for JT- and his team due to the shift to an online format, and they rarely placed in the prize-winning spots in Chinese leagues. Everything changed when Valve announced the new DPC season in 2021. Invictus Gaming's victories in Dota Pro Circuit 2021: Season 1 - China Upper Division and the ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 secured their direct qualification for The International 10, allowing them to play more relaxedly in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021: Season 1 - China Upper Division and the WePlay AniMajor. Upon returning home after the Major, JT- faced difficulties in obtaining permission to leave Malaysia, but he successfully joined the team's boot camp in Romania in September to prepare for The International 10.
