Bio
Volodymyr PGG Anosov is a retired Russian professional Dota 2 player, commentator, and analyst. He gained fame for numerous Aegis of the Immortal steals in official matches, earning him the nickname Grand Theft Aegis. He nurtured many young talents by forming mix teams and defeating top-tier teams on the global pro scene.
He began his career in 2011 by joining Moscow Five, having previously played Dota at an amateur level. During this time, he met Andrey Dread Golubev, Yaroslav NS Kuznetsov, and Ivan Vigoss Shinkarev. He was always known for his inconsistent play on Enigma, and due to numerous Black Hole misses into empty spaces, he was nicknamed The Blackest Hole. As a player, he made his only appearance at The International 2012, finishing 13-16th with Moscow Five. At the end of 2012, PGG formed his own team, The Retry, where he constantly swapped players but never achieved notable results.
In 2016, PGG became the coach of Fantastic Five, which at the time included Oleksandr XBOCT Dashkevich, Andriy Ghostik Kadyk, and Roman rmN- Paley. The team participated in Tier-3 tournaments and attempted to qualify for The Boston Major 2016 but was unsuccessful.
After failing with Fantastic Five, Volodymyr decided to start a career as a commentator and analyst. He covered The Boston Major 2016, ESL One Manila 2016, and The Shanghai Major 2016 as a guest analyst and later joined The International 2016 as an analyst. In 2018, he became part of the Maincast studio.
In 2021, he once again attempted to return to the pro scene by forming the mix team ANTIKuCyJlbKu. They competed in the open qualifiers for DPC EEU 2021/22 Tour 1: Division II but failed to reach the regional league. Alongside his playing efforts, PGG remained active as an analyst and commentator, covering The International 10 qualifiers and ESL One Summer 2021.
In 2022, Volodymyr continued his career as an analyst, providing commentary and match analysis at major tournaments such as PGL Arlington Major 2022.
In September 2023, PGG was a commentator for the BetBoom Dacha grand final in Moscow. In November of the same year, he registered to participate in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur qualifiers alongside other well-known players. He commented on this participation more as entertainment than a serious attempt to return to the pro scene.
Additionally, Volodymyr continued sharing his insights on the current state of Dota 2 through interviews and publications, further strengthening his reputation within the community.
In 2024, besides his analytical work, PGG once again played competitively, representing Team Stray at BB Streamers Battle 8. In 2025, he participated in BB Streamers Battle 9, finishing in 6th place.
