Bio
Zheng MidOne Yek Nai - is a Malaysian professional Dota 2 player who is willing to take any role in a team according to its needs. He was best known for playing as a member of Team Secret, where he won 3 majors and reached sixth and fourth place at The International. Signature heroes are considered to be: Ember Spirit, Invoker, Outworld Destroyer.
MidOne started his cybersport career back in the DotA era, participating in semi-professional tournaments since his childhood. However, it wasn't until after graduation in 2015 that Zheng decided to seriously dedicate himself to cybersports. Together with his friends, he founded Team DOT and immediately won the Mountain Dew Dota 2 Challenge 2015 regional qualifications. Subsequently, they also dominated the grand finals of this tournament, earning 60,000 ringgit for their team. Such incredible talent could not go unnoticed and Fnatic management invited MidOne to join their roster, making them part of one of the best teams in the region.
Shortly after MidOne's transition to the new team, he led it to victory in The Shanghai Major 2016 qualifiers and finished 5th-6th in the main stage of that tournament. In April 2016, he became the first player with an MMR rating of 8,000 points in Southeast Asia. During the season, Team Fnatic finished third at ESL One Manila 2016 and StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2, and reached sixth place at The Manila Major 2016. The collective won a slot at The International 2016 by finishing second at the qualifiers. At the event itself, it exceeded expectations, reaching fourth place and earning nearly $1.5 million.
MidOne joined Team Secret in the new season. The first significant victory in the new team was the championship at ROG MASTERS 2016, followed by 3-4 place at EPICENTER and second place at DOTA Summit 7. After not the most successful performance at The International 2017, where the team took 9-12th place, Puppey decided to make changes to the lineup, but MidOne remained unchanged. On the contrary, with the arrival of Ace and FATA- the team started playing much more successfully. One of the highlights was winning DreamLeague Season 8, where the team won a $500,000 prize, as well as fourth place at China Dota2 Supermajor and sixth place at The International 2018.
When Nisha and zai joined Team Secret, the squad began an impressive season, winning nearly every major tournament of the year, including The Chongqing Major and MDL Disneyland® Paris Major, as well as placing fourth at The International 2019. Following the conclusion of that tournament, MidOne left the team after announcing his significant fatigue. In 2020, he joined OG.
Since 2022, MidOne played for Team SMG. After The International 12, the player joined Team Secret, with whom he successfully qualified for European qualification at ESL One: Kuala Lumpur 2023.
He currently plays for Team Secret.
