Buying Onions — is a professional Dota 2 player from the USA, playing in the mid lane and the fourth position.
Buying Onions began his Dota 2 career in 2019, participating in various amateur tournaments with many different teams.
On the professional scene, Buying Onions first made a name for himself in early 2024, when he, as part of the North American team Blue Pikachu, advanced to the Elite League: North American Closed Qualifiers. The team finished in the top 8 in the qualifiers, after which he left the roster. Then Buying Onions decided to form his own team under the name BuyingOnions. Under this tag, he participated in the qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 23, but was defeated in the first match of the open tour of the competition.
After the failure with his stack, Buying Onions returned to Blue Pikachu, with which he later participated in the qualifiers for The International 2024 and Riyadh Masters 2024, but was unsuccessful there, as the team did not make it to the closed stage of the qualifiers.
