Xtreme Gaming end their run at DreamLeague Season 27
In the lower bracket semifinal of DreamLeague Season 27, PARIVISION proved stronger than the Chinese squad Xtreme Gaming, winning the series 2:0. The team will now face Team Spirit for a spot in the grand final, while Xtreme Gaming leave the tournament in 4th place, earning $50,000 in prize money.
Both maps were dominated by PARIVISION, who did not allow their opponents to take control of the game. The second map ended in just 20 minutes, and carry Alan Satanic Galyamov died only once across both games, earning the MVP of the series.
At this tournament, PARIVISION have already secured at least a top-3 finish - a significantly better result than at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, where the team placed 11th and failed to reach the playoffs, as well as at PGL Wallachia Season 6, where they finished 5th–6th.
For Xtreme Gaming, fourth place can also be considered a solid result, as at the previous tournament, BLAST Slam V, the team finished only 8th, exiting in the group stage.
PARIVISION are competing in this tournament with a new coach, as Filipe Astini Astini left the team in early December. Ahead of DreamLeague Season 27, it became known that Clement Puppey Ivanov would assist the roster at the event, and many believe this change will benefit the team.
