Xtreme Gaming commented on the founder’s statement about the team’s form
The Chinese organization Xtreme Gaming has issued an official statement regarding the future of its Dota 2 roster. The club confirmed it will continue operating in the discipline and will participate in the Esports World Cup 2025.
According to the team representatives, their poor performance at DreamLeague Season 26, where they placed 11th–12th, was the result of internal disagreements. The statement notes that these issues sparked many discussions, and the organization is committed to addressing the situation thoroughly.
All team members have always followed high professional standards. The loss at DreamLeague was caused by various factors and is not linked to the players’ professionalism. The club welcomes competitive criticism but asks for time and space to make adjustments and improvements.
Xtreme Gaming emphasized that it will strictly follow its planned preparation path for major tournaments, including Riyadh Masters 2025. The organization remains dedicated to a competitive spirit and the pursuit of top-level results.
It’s worth noting that earlier, the founder of the organization, Zhou Yang Haiyang, had stated that Xtreme Gaming might skip the tournaments in Saudi Arabia due to disappointing results at DreamLeague Season 26. According to him, the team failed to meet expectations, raising doubts about the roster’s future.
