Xtreme Gaming and Azure Ray will take part in the "Games of the Future" in Russia

Chinese teams Xtreme Gaming and Azure Ray will travel to Kazan for the Игры Будущего (Games of the Future) tournament organized by the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation. This tournament is held in Russia and is not a key tournament in the world of Dota 2, and the organizations represented at the tournament will be condemned by the community for contributing to Russia's unprovoked war against Ukraine.

Earlier, two organizations have already announced their participation in the tournament: LGD Gaming and G2.IG. A total of 16 teams will participate in the competition, and the tournament itself will be held from February 19 to 25. The date of the Игры Будущего (Games of the Future) finals coincides with the start of DreamLeague Season 22, where Xtreme Gaming received a direct invitational according to the results of the EPT table.

Игры Будущего (Games of the Future) is a multi-sport Russian tournament that has been held under the auspices of the local Ministry of Sports since September 2021. Multiple international organizations are boycotting the event as some of the proceeds from the event could go to sponsor the war in Ukraine.
