Valve released a mini-patch for Dota 2 that fixes several technical issues following the major 7.39 update.
The changes addressed visual effects, the user interface, and some hero mechanics.

Notably, the patch resolved issues with invisible heroes showing on the minimap, bugs with Facets, and glitches in game modes and new content. The update also includes fixes related to Immortal items, hero abilities, and UI elements.

At the same time, developers continue to optimize the map, interface, and in-game systems - including improvements to item purchasing and the settings menu navigation.

Key changes:

  • Immortal items now correctly appear as ability effects and can be equipped.
  • Item rarities in the new treasure have been fixed.
  • Luna's attack effects have been corrected when using the Seeker of the Crescent Wheel set.
  • The Sanctuary Facet on Void Spirit no longer applies incorrect damage absorption.
  • Batrider’s Sticky Napalm now correctly reduces enemy turn rate.
  • Naga Siren's Reel In ability has been added to Ability Draft.
  • Shadow Fiend now properly displays the number of collected souls.
  • Fixed a bug where Io and Batrider remained visible on the minimap after moving out of vision.
  • New MVP screen background changes based on whether the hero has an Arcana or persona.

The mini-update came just a day after patch 7.39. The community reacted strongly to the changes, prompting Valve to quickly address the most critical issues.

As reported earlier by CyberScore, Sand King’s win rate dropped by over 7% following patch 7.39.
