Regional Finals will replace the first Major of the DPC 2021/22 season – Valve

Valve apologized for the situation with the canceled first major of the DPC 2021/22 season and announced the Regional Finals, which will be held in six parts of the world during two weekends in February. The top four teams in each region will compete for $100,000 and several hundred DPC points.
The regional schedule is as follows:
- February 11-13: Western Europe, Southeast Asia, South America;
- February 18-20: Eastern Europe, China, North America.
Depending on the results, teams will earn:
- 1st place: $50K and 250 DPC points
- 2nd Place: $25k and 130 DPC points
- 3rd place: $15,000;
- 4th place: $10,000.
It is noted that the Regional Finals will be held in the Double Elimination format. Earlier it became known that Valve will increase the number of participants in The International 11 from 18 to 20.
