Tundra Esports became the first finalists of DreamLeague Season 28
In the Upper Bracket of the DreamLeague Season 28 playoffs, Tundra Esports proved stronger than Team Liquid, convincingly winning the series 2:0. As a result, Tundra advanced to the grand final, while Liquid dropped to the Lower Bracket, where they will get another chance.
Both maps were completely under Tundra’s control, and the “liquids” performed poorly, offering nothing against their opponents. On the second map, Liquid’s offlaner Markus Ace Hoelgaard played Centaur Warrunner, on which he had a 12-win streak that has now been broken.
The best player of the series was carry Ivan Pure Moskalenko, who died only twice across two maps and posted a KDA of 25 in each game.
Notably, Team Liquid finished the second group stage undefeated, winning all seven matches, while Tundra placed second.
