The International 2025: qualifiers dates revealed

In Dota 2, in-game tickets related to the open qualifiers for The International 2025 have appeared. This indicates that the qualifiers are expected to begin soon.

Analyst Ben Noxville Steenhuisen also discovered strings in the client’s code suggesting that regional qualifiers are scheduled to take place between 07.06.2025 and 24.06.2025. However, Valve has not officially confirmed this information yet. If accurate, an official announcement and registration details should be expected shortly.

The prize pool for The International 2025 has not been announced yet and will depend on sales of the upcoming Compendium. In recent years, the total has been significantly lower due to changes in the Battle Pass model, but rumors suggest Valve may bring back the classic version filled with cosmetic content, potentially increasing revenue and the final prize amount.

As a reminder, the champions of the previous tournament, The International 2024, were Team Liquid, who defeated Gaimin Gladiators with score 3:0 in the grand final.

The International 2025 will take place from 04.09.2025 to 14.09.2025 and will be held in two stages. The championship will feature 16 teams.
