Finargot: "I think we can expect a compendium or something similar next week"

Content creator Dmitry finargot Plusnin suggested on his personal Telegram channel when developers will release content for The International 2025.

The streamer commented on the active updates to the Dota 2 Experimental Server that began today:

“Here we go. I think we can expect a compendium or something similar next week (or maybe the week after).”

It is unknown whether Valve will release a Battle Pass or, as in the past two years, only a Compendium. Until 2022, the BP was released several months before TI, but in 2022 it was added to the game a month before the event, and in 2023 and 2024 the developers decided not to release it.

Release dates for content for The International 2022-2024:

• September 1, 2022 — Battle Pass + Compendium (The International 2022 took place from October 15 to 30)
• September 28, 2023 — Compendium (The International 2023 took place from October 12 to 29)
• August 23, 2024 — Compendium (The International 2024 took place from September 4 to 15)

The International 2025 will be held from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany, with 16 teams participating. The starting prize pool for the event is $1,600,000.
