Team Liquid players commented on the PGL Wallachia Season 4 final

Jonas SabeRLighT Volek, Aydin Insania Sarkohi, and Samuel Boxi Svahn shared some thoughts after defeating PARIVISION in the grand final of PGL Wallachia Season 4.

Team Liquid's offlaner said he was happy to play a full Bo-5 in the final match.

“Before the fifth map started, I told the guys, 'If we had just won the first three games, the match would have been boring.' But winning like this – it's the best I could have hoped for! Not only did we finally beat PARIVISION, who we had been struggling against all year, but we did it this way! I’ll remember this moment forever, it was awesome!”

Insania and Boxi also highlighted how important it was for them to finally defeat PARIVISION, a team they hadn’t managed to beat since November 2024.

Comment from Insania:

“We finally played well against PARIVISION. It was very exciting. We won the first two maps, then they made a comeback in the next two, and in the fifth game, I feel like everyone got what they wanted — the fans, us, and even our opponents. I think no one walked away from this series disappointed”

Comment from Boxi:

“It feels really great to win PGL Wallachia again. I’m having a bit of déjà vu because we were here about three weeks ago and also won. I remember back then I was thinking that PARIVISION hadn’t been at that tournament, and they’re usually our main rivals. This time, we almost let the win slip away, but in the end, we pulled through. It was really fun. [Before this win, we had lost to PARIVISION] like ten times in a row, starting from ESL One Bangkok 2024, so yeah, it felt really good to finally beat them”

Boxi also admitted that by the fourth map of the final, Team Liquid players were already feeling the fatigue and shared how the team managed to cope with it:

”Coming from the lower bracket is always tough because you have to wake up pretty early and play a lot of games. After the first series, you’re already pretty exhausted, and there’s barely any time to rest. But we’re used to it. Caffeine and good vibes help us get through it.
I think by the fourth game we were completely drained, but on the deciding map, we pulled ourselves together and made a few good plays. Around the seventh minute, we told ourselves, 'Okay guys, we’re not crushed yet”

PGL Wallachia Season 4 took place from 19.04.2025 to 27.04.2025. Sixteen teams competed for a prize pool of $1,000,000.

As previously reported by CyberScore, it has been revealed why Nisha missed ESL One Raleigh 2025.
