Team Liquid defeated Gaimin Gladiators in the grand final of The International 2024, making the organization a two-time champion of The International.

The grand final ended with a score of 3:0. The match was one-sided as Liquid comfortably beat GG on all three maps, gaining full control. In none of the games did Quinn Quinn Callahan’s team manage to reach the opponent's high ground or destroy a single side.

Special mention goes to Team Liquid offlaner Neta 33 Shapira, who became the first player in history to win TI with two different teams. He first became a champion in 2022 with Tundra Esports. For all other Team Liquid players, this was their first victory at The International.

Liquid support Samuel Boxi Svan gave a post-match interview in which he shared his emotions after the victory. This is the player’s first championship in a tier-1 tournament.

It feels great to finally win a major LAN tournament. This is my first win in a tier-1 championship in my career, according to Liquipedia. It’s nice to start winning with the biggest tournament.

The last few years have been tough for me. I'm really happy that many of my family members are here — watching and supporting. And also my friends cheering from home, and of course, all of our fans. I want to sincerely thank everyone for giving me the strength to keep moving forward and not give up.
