Team Liquid advanced to the grand final of PGL Wallachia Season 7

In the lower bracket final of PGL Wallachia Season 7, Team Liquid defeated BetBoom Team with a 2:1 score and advanced to the grand final, where Team Yandex are already waiting in the match for the tournament title.

Many noted that this series was worthy of a tournament final, as both teams squeezed the maximum out of every situation.

The first map lasted 76 minutes, with the advantage shifting from one team to another and ending only after Liquid managed to destroy all of the opponent’s barracks, coming back from a 15,000 gold deficit.

The second map turned out to be even more exciting and lasted 83 minutes. However, despite all the efforts of Michal Nisha Jankowski on Tinker, the team was unable to win the map, and the midlaner finished with a score of 13 kills, 12 assists, and only 2 deaths.

The final game also lasted more than an hour, with both teams destroying each other's barracks while the advantage kept changing throughout the match. Liquid managed to secure mega creeps, but finishing the game was still difficult and the team only closed it out at the 66th minute.

It should be noted that Team Liquid coach William Blitz Lee promised that if Nisha takes first place in the leaderboard by rating, he will receive $100,000 or a car. Just before the tournament, Jankowski reached the top position after surpassing the 17,000 rating mark.
