Team Falcons have advanced to the grand final of FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2
In the lower bracket final of the FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 tournament, Team Falcons faced Team Yandex in a match for a spot in the grand final. The Falcons secured a confident 2:0 victory, marking their first official meeting with this opponent.
The first map lasted over 50 minutes, with a gold lead exceeding 60,000 in favor of Falcons. On the second map, the team completely dominated, closing the game in just 30 minutes while allowing Team Yandex to score only 7 kills. Despite the loss, Yandex’s performance can be considered impressive - the team finished in the top 3 and earned $105,000 in prize money.
In a post-match interview, Falcons support Jingjun Sneyking Wu spoke about the team’s form and preparation for the decisive match:
We’re gaining form as the tournament goes on and fixing our mistakes. A small patch was released recently, so we had to adjust our drafts and remove Huskar from our picks. Team Yandex played well despite their limited experience in tournaments of this level. We’ll take a short break before the final, but overall, we’re ready.
