Rumour: Team Aster disbanded

Chinese cybersports organization Team Aster announced disbandment and withdrawal of the club from the discipline. Such a message appeared on the Chinese resource Weibo with reference to one of the founders of the organization Xu BurNIng Zhiley.

Team Aster was founded in September 2018. The team debuted at the qualification at The Kuala Lumpur Major, where it was able to qualify for the main part of the tournament as well and ended up taking 13-16th place at it. Among the club's notable results we can highlight the 2nd place at ESL One Malaysia 2022, where the team defeated Team Secret in the final of the upper playoffs and managed to make it to the grand finals. Additionally, Team Aster placed 3rd at PGL Arlington Major 2022 and 4th at The International 2022.

In November 2023, Team Aster assembled a new roster after a lineup disbandment with Sumail SumaiL Hassan. The new roster was able to place 2nd at Esports Shanghai Masters 2023 and 9-12 at Kobolds Rave. In January, the team participated in the qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, DreamLeague Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham 2024, but the club failed to qualify for any of the tournaments, Team Aster finished 5th-6th at all qualifiers.
