Sikle discovered a critical bug with Invoker and Tormentor in Patch 7.41

Team Spirit analyst Denis sikle Lerman reported an issue with obtaining Aghanim’s Shard by Invoker after killing the Tormentor. The entire team receives 415 gold, even if none of the allies already have the “shard.”

“If the team kills the Tormentor and Invoker gets Aghanim’s Shard, the game assumes that EVERYONE on that team already has a shard, so it gives EVERY player, including Invoker, 415 gold + Aghanim’s Shard.”

Note that if there are heroes on the team without Aghanim’s Shard, the buff goes to one of the characters, and the rest receive 175 gold each. 415 gold for killing the Tormentor is awarded only if all heroes on the team have a “shard.”

In patch 7.41, the developers moved the spawn location of the first Tormentor from the top lane to the bottom lane, increased its base barrier from 2,000 to 3,000, and made a number of minor adjustments to this object. You can find detailed information about all the changes on the game’s official website or in the Dota 2 client.

As CyberScore previously reported, Sikle shared what new hero interaction mechanics he would introduce to Dota 2.
