Taiga involved in match-fixing again? Runa Team release a statement

Representatives of Runa Team reported that former OG Esports player Tommy Taiga Le contacted the team’s players with an “offer to talk.” The organization shared this in a public statement addressed to ESL organizers.

Dear ESL, please remove Taiga from the Discord. He adds to all the players on my team and offer to talk. I think everyone understands what this is about.

As a reminder, in April 2024 the situation surrounding Taiga became public after the release of an investigation by blogger and journalist Stepan Morf Shevtsov. The material included chat logs and recordings of conversations between Taiga and Alexander Sensibility Filatov, in which bets on OG Esports matches and possible ways to influence match outcomes were discussed.

Later, the player released a statement admitting his involvement in match-fixing, explaining it by financial difficulties caused by a gambling addiction. He also emphasized that he does not plan to return to the professional Dota 2 scene.
