Runa Team players announce search for a new organization

The esports organization Runa Team has ended its cooperation with its Dota 2 roster. This was announced by the team’s coach Alexey j4 Lipay on his personal Telegram channel. According to him, the players will continue competing with the same roster and are already looking for a new organization.

We are leaving our current tag and starting a new stage. The team is now looking for an organization and a new home where we can continue to grow and reach our potential. We are open to long-term cooperation with interested organizations.

The coach also thanked the team owner Bogdan for the cooperation and noted that further development requires a new partner:

I continue working with the team as a coach. The roster is complete, and preparation is underway in full swing. From now on, the previous management does not represent the team or participate in communications. All inquiries regarding the team should be directed to me.

Alexey also announced that in January the roster plans to participate in qualifiers for all major 2026 tournaments, including ESL One Birmingham 2026, which will take place at the end of April.

The Runa Team roster was officially signed on June 4, 2025, by streamer Oleg stray228 Bocharov. During the existence of this roster, Runa Team participated in two major tournaments - FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and DreamLeague Season 27, placing 12–14th and 9–16th respectively, and also became the champion of CCT Season 2 Series 5.

Recently, rumors surfaced that Bauyrzhan lilskrip Bisembaev, who was previously banned by Valve for involvement in match-fixing, might be the CEO of an organization, hiding under a different name.

Despite the organization’s denial of this information, lilskrip later admitted that he had indeed been the director of Runa Team. Bisembayev shared this in his Telegram channel:

In fact, I was the director of Runa Team from the very start of its existence. I assembled the roster based on the available talent in the CIS. Later, I suggested that the investor focus on media exposure, but the idea did not bring the expected results. When information surfaced that I was the CEO, internal conflicts began within the team, and I decided to leave.
