Road to The International: final statistics for the first stage of TI
The group stage of The International 2025 has come to an end. The eight strongest teams have been determined and will compete in the championship playoffs at Barclays Arena. The main stage matches will start on September 11, but for now, we invite you to check out the final statistics of the first stage of TI.
The most frequently picked heroes were Disruptor, Pugna, and Bane, while Naga Siren, Beastmaster, and Marci were almost never unbanned. Naga and Beastmaster were also among the most contested heroes in the tournament, with Marci slightly behind Nature's Prophet in this regard. Ursa, Shadow Demon, and Shadow Fiend lead the list of heroes with the highest win rate. Magnus, Dawnbreaker, and Sven had the lowest win rate among characters picked more than 10 times.
Only 21 characters were ignored on the Road to The International: Arc Warden, Chaos Knight, Clinkz, Crystal Maiden, Drow Ranger, Jakiro, Legion Commander, Lich, Lina, Omniknight, Outworld Destroyer, Phantom Assassin, Riki, Skywrath Mage, Techies, Treant Protector, Venomancer, Viper, Visage, Witch Doctor and Wraith King.
The longest match took place in the third round of the group stage, on the second map in the confrontation between Team Falcons — Xtreme Gaming, and lasted 78 minutes and 14 seconds. The shortest match ended in 22 minutes and 32 seconds — the second map in the first round of the group stage between Team Spirit — Wildcard. It should be noted that in 108 matches played, there were 3 rampages and 496 buybacks, as well as 312 couriers and 308 Roshans killed.
The leader in courier kills is PARIVISION support Edgar 9Class Naltakyan, who killed 21 couriers in 13 matches. Second place goes to Andreas Cr1t- Frank Nielsen with 13 couriers in 16 games, and rounding out the top three «hunters» is Martin Saksa Sazdov from Tundra Esports.
The all-time record holder at The International is Miroslav Mira Kolpakov, who has killed 72 couriers during his tournament participation.
