PARIVISION players shared their thoughts on patch 7.38
On the night of February 19, Dota 2 received update 7.38. Valve reworked the map, adding new landscape elements including water areas. Additionally, the attributes of many heroes and items were changed and new creeps were introduced.
The players of team PARIVISION shared their opinions on the new features, noting both positive and controversial changes.

Andrey Dukalis Kuropatkin believes that supports continue to be buffed, making them even more enjoyable to play and the youngest player and carry of the team, Alan Satanic Gallyamov, pointed out that some carry heroes received improvements while others remained unchanged: Naga Siren was buffed, Morphling nerfed, but Phantom Lancer, Faceless Void and Juggernaut received no adjustments.
Edgar 9Class Naltakyan positively evaluated the map rework and the possibility of effective farming on Venomancer thanks to the changed arrangement of neutral camps, while the team's midlaner, Vladimir No[o]ne Minenko, called the patch interesting—highlighting the addition of water and new landscape elements—but expressed dissatisfaction with the reduction in heroes’ movement speed.
Dmitry DM Dorokhin concluded that the map changes made the game feel fresher and more varied, and that nerfs to certain mechanics benefited overall balance. However, in his opinion, the developers could have made more significant changes to items to make the meta even more dynamic.
