Zeng ‘Ori‘ Jiaoyang joined the players who ended their esports careers after The International 2022. However, unlike MATUMBAMAN and other legends, the exit of Team Aster’s mid laner from Dota 2 came as a surprise to fans.

According to rumors, Ori was forced to make this decision because of his parents, who had already found him a job. In his time away from esports, Zeng Jiaoyang graduated from one of the best law schools in China and then passed the exam required to obtain a license. The family of the former Aster player wants him to build a long and successful career outside of esports in order to be considered a respected person.

Ori appeared on the Dota 2 pro scene before the start of the 2016/17 season. After several months in DUOBAO, the Chinese moved to Vici Gaming, where he established himself as one of the best mid players in the world. He was exceptional on Storm Spirit and Templar Assassin. Together with Vici, Zeng Jiaoyan won several major tournaments, in particular Epicenter Major 2019 and DreamLeague Season 11, and made it to the top 6 at The International twice.

Before the start of DPC 2021/22, Ori moved to Team Aster. After a good season, he and his team managed to take fourth place in the main tournament of the year.

As CyberScore reported, Tundra Esports became the TI11 champion after defeating Team Secret in the grand final.
