OG wins ESL One Malaysia 2022 after beating Team Aster in the grand final


OG became ESL One Malaysia champions after defeating Team Aster in the grand final with a 3-0 score. For the Chinese team, this defeat was the first at the tournament.

The European team earned $175,000 for winning the tournament, while the finalists replenished their budget by $85,000. Team Secret took third place and gained $45,000, and Fnatic came in the fourth place ($25,000).

ESL One Malaysia was the last major event before the regional qualifiers for The International 2022, which start in early September. The tournament in Southeast Asia lasted from August 23 to 28, 12 teams competed for $400,000.
