OG commented on why the organization declined the invite to PGL Wallachia Season 1. As a reminder, it was revealed today that Tundra Esports will be unable to participate in the tournament due to visa issues. The slot was given to Mouz, although it was OG who finished 2nd in the closed Western Europe qualifier, losing to Tundra Esports in the grand final of the qualifiers.

The organization stated that missing the tournament was not related to visas, but rather due to personal matters of the players. Since the team did not expect a chance to participate in the event, the dates of PGL Wallachia Season 1 were decided to be off days for the team members.

First off, we're always happy to Sunsfan our way to an event, and appreciate that we were invited to stand-in here. This time, it's actually not visa related. Given that the team had initially not-qualified, our players and staff had planned other personal events and rest during this time

Another issue was that the team's offlaner Adrian Cespedes Wisper Dobles had been living in the UK for the past few months, participating in ESL One Birmingham 2024, and now the organization wants to give the player some time to rest at home.

Especially Wisper, having been stuck in EU/UK for the past few months.

PGL Wallachia Season 1 will take place from May 10 to 19 in Bucharest, Romania. Sixteen teams will compete. The prize pool will be one million dollars.

As previously reported by Cyberscore.live, Tundra Esports will skip PGL Wallachia Season 1.
