OG disbands European Dota 2 roster
Esports organization OG has officially announced the end of its cooperation with the active Dota 2 roster. The announcement was made on the club’s official social media pages.
After a tough start to the season, we made the difficult decision to part ways with our current active Dota 2 roster. We would like to thank the team for their hard work and enthusiasm, and wish them all the best in their future projects - we’ll be cheering for you, guys! However, this is not the end of our Dota 2 journey - stay tuned for updates.
The team was formed in May 2025 and managed to win CIS Battle 2 and CCT Season 2 Series 4. However, they later failed to qualify for any of the five tournaments and did not secure prize placements at FISSURE Universe: Episode 7 or DreamLeague Division 2 Season 1, despite receiving direct invitations.
The club’s coach, Johan N0tail Sundstein, remains within the organization, while the main roster players have become free agents. Earlier, the club also disbanded its Latin American roster, OG.LATAM, which failed to achieve positive results.
